Continuing the tradition of Best Logo Fonts. Almost 96% of logos have text and choosing the right font is one of the most important steps in logo design. And it’s quite hard to decide. I bet all of you have faced this problem many times while drafting your projects.
There are thousands of logos, some of them are great, some really great and some of those have a “hidden” meaning in them that you might have missed. I’ve ran through lots of logos and chose the best ones with hidden details. Those artists are THE designers for they’ve been so creative and talented to come up with such awesome results.
I’ve chosen top 10 most recognizable logos for this article. Of course, this top list is my own, based on nothing other than just my own judgment. I’ve made a Google research, went through tons pages of interesting information on these great logos. The brief info I provide here is focused on logos and their evolution, but not on the company histories. If you are curious about what you might not know about these big industry players, just Google ‘em. Some of the details and facts are just amazing!
I decided to make it traditional. So this will be the Part II of the Inspiring logos series. These are the freshest logo works by various artists, collected from different web sites. I chose the best arts. Check them out, get inspiration and maybe something will spark in your mind. I love to nice designs and I bet you do too.
There’s a fresh and growing trend in logo business known as logo contest or crowdsourcing. The websites offer you to start a logo contest between hundreds (and even thousands) of their registered designers for your business. At first, it sounds very sweet, ain’t it? You have a whole bunch of eager designers working for you at a time! BUT. There are many disputable points in all this.
It’s crazy but still there are many many individuals who don’t take logo design seriously, not willing to pay good and get a worthy design. Why? A logo is the face of your brand, come on! Yes there are tons of online services (including free ones) that will help you build-your-own-logo in a few minutes, regardless of your artistic skills and yes it is fast (and sometimes even FREE!). But hey, if you are serious about your business – don’t take your logo for granted. You’d never want your child be faceless huh?
We’re designers right? Meaning that we create something and make it look good. And we have to be responsible for what we’re making, because the same design project may be adored by one person and provoke negative reactions in another. Let’s take Color. One may say, “Hey, come on, dude, you’re taking it way too deep. Who cares? I make one logo design, take money and go spend it.” Well, I’m not gonna be too deep with this, I’ve ran through many pages of information about color and just wanted to make a brief conclusion on what a designer should keep his mind on.
Choosing the rightest font is maybe the most important step while designing a logo. And when you have tons of fonts on your machine (like me) it is much harder to choose one. But as any designer, I always have a “top-list” in my head. I looked around the Web and came up with many articles advising you this and that font, but it seemed to me like the authors didn’t feel what they’re writing about. Just like threw them into the search results ocean.
