We have been posting nice inspirational print ads for a long time, but never mentioned designs with 3D effect (but not that stereo-3D that you need special glasses for, don’t mix them!). Today I have hand-picked best 30 print ads with nice 3d effect.
Check them out and you will see how cool they can be. These ads fulfil the main function of print ads – being memorable.

Even though I am not a big fan of 3D logos, I still love how they look. I’ve hand-picked the most brilliant 3d logo designs created by various artists (most of them are from DevianArt network, where all great digital artists gather up) to show you how beautiful and stunning logos can be.
Why 3D logos are not the best choice? Well, depends on where you gonna use them. Mostly, they are “what you see is NOT what you get” when printed and used as embroidery of course. They are great for online or any other “digital” use. Sometimes a regular 2D logo is re-created in 3D for greater visual impact, but the actual logo remains 2D and in CMYK (while a 3D logo can be in RGB). Read more »

Nowadays you may face the word more and more frequently, especially among digital artists, on design blogs, portfolio sites, etc. But what does it really mean – vexel?
Today I will try to explain the term, where it came from, what does it mean, how it’s made and show you some examples. Best for those who understand what does vector and raster mean.
If you do a Google search for vexel images, you will come up with artworks which look like vector images, but they are not made of vectors at all. They are made of pixels actually. Read more »

Seems like we do everything with one certain goal – to eat. One can’t go long without food. And what about some nice piece of a steak right now? Brilliant if you are not a vegetarian. But that’s not the point. Every food product we consume comes with a price tag and a logo on it. So I decided to pile up best of the best food logos for inspiration.
From today, I will start a Best Logos series, where you will find the best, hand-picked logos from various sources, each time a different category. I am not going to post famous logos like McDonald’s, Heineken, Coca-Cola and so on, since you already know they are great. The main goal of these Best Logos series is inspiration.

Visualizing the information is not an easy task as it may seem. It requires concentration, practice and good designing skills. Some infographics are really must-see ones, since they show you the data [knowledge] which will increase your intelligence and views. Some of them are just funny, some damn serious.
Reading infographics is much easier and fun than deciphering some statistics or reading plain text. Moreover, the info you get from infographics is more likely to be stuck in your mind, because it is a visual perception.
