Guys at Adobe never stop surprising us with new features and everytime an update is released Photoshop users get excited about what’s it gonna be like. While some of us still haven’t got over Content-Aware magic, others already trying the new stuff.
Photoshop CS6 comes with dramatic changes and awesome features. The interface has been changed (which is totally revolutional for Photoshop), more Content-Aware tools, improved engine, faster performance, video editing, RAW import, improved Crop tool and on and on and on… Tons of everything. Most of Photoshop users think they are getting the most of it without any settings changed. Well, I am not talking about monster machines, but those who work with Photoshop on average computers will find those tips useful.
If you have ever used Photoshop for any project where alignment/layout of elements is very important then you are familiar with Guides. Especially web designers, who deal with templates know what I am talking about. And calculating guide spaces is not the sweetest part of the job. Some skip this part and put guides relying on their eyes. But it’s not accurate.
Lately, it’s been getting pretty popular, huh? The Do It Yourself (a.k.a. DIY) Logos. Ok, now I need to hold my temper a bit. On one hand the do it yourself system sounds cool. Since you are the one who knows what, where and how’s about your brand better than any others, right? And you developed your company from nothing – you and your ideas. Spent some time and cash, so why spend more on hiring a professional designer?? Do It Yourself, man!
