It may seem funny but it is real. As a male designer, I maybe have to know the color names (actually, I prefer HEX codes) but I usually just call them by a few common names. But when it comes to girls, here come the fancy stuff. “It’s not pink, it’s a bubble gum color!”
I bet most of the guys here are familiar with such situations, huh? Like when you are talking to your girl and she’s like “I love those sea-foam shoes!” and you are like “What shoes? Ah…you mean those green ones…”
